Leadership and Committees
The Steering Committee sets policies for the Group on Institutional Planning and manages the group's affairs. GIP members may join one of the four GIP subcommittees on facilities planning and space management; strategic planning and management; emergency preparedness and business continuity planning work group; or data-driven academic medical centers work group.

Membership
The GIP membership is comprised of a diverse group of over 500 leaders responsible for all aspects of institutional planning. GIP members must be appointed by his or her medical school dean or teaching hospital CEO. Learn more about GIP membership.
