Dashboards can be helpful and informative tools for institutions to help monitor their progress and assess the impact of their strategic plans. This webinar explored journeys of data visualization development across multiple medical schools. The presenters spoke to their processes for the development of metrics, ensuring data accuracy, creating a feedback loop for end users, continuous improvement, and how to deliver necessary information to leadership for data-enabled decision making. This webinar also presented on the tools used for data visualization, the pros and cons of each solution, and their direction for the future. This topic was previously presented at the Group on Business Affairs (GBA) and Group on Institutional Planning (GIP) 2025 Joint Spring Meeting.
