What's New This Year?

The GIA is excited to announce several changes for the 2018 competition.

  • We’ve added two new categories to allow you to showcase short articles and news releases that made big impacts at your institution.

  • More opportunities to win! We’ll be awarding Gold, Silver, and Bronze distinctions.

  • In the past, if you won a GIA Award for Excellence the previous year, you were unable to submit your submissions the following year. Well, that’s changed. Award winners from 2017 are eligible and encouraged to submit again.

  • Also, we've added a "Best in Show" award. This judges’ choice award is reserved for the BEST entry across all categories and will be recognized as such at the 2018 AAMC National Professional Development Conference for Institutional Advancement.
