On The Hill….

Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) Dec. 17 announced that he will not seek reelection in 2014 after serving in Congress for 34 years. Rep. Wolf currently serves on the House Appropriations Committee, where he is the chair of the Commerce-Justice-Science Subcommittee.

Rep. Jim Matheson (D-Utah) Dec. 17 announced that he will not seek reelection in 2014. Rep. Matheson currently serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and is a former co-chair of the Blue Dog Coalition.

In a Dec. 17 email to supporters, Rep. Tom Latham (R-Iowa) announced that he will not seek reelection in 2014. Rep. Latham currently serves on the House Appropriations Committee, where he is the chair of the Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Subcommittee.

Republican Bradley Byrne Dec. 17 won a special election for Alabama’s vacant first Congressional District. Byrne will succeed Rep. Joe Bonner, who resigned earlier this year to take a job with the University of Alabama.
