The House and Senate will be in recess July 2 through July 6 for the Independence Day holiday. Both chambers will be in session starting July 9.

July 2-3: PCORI National Workshop on Use of Electronic Data

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) will hold a two-day national workshop focusing on developing ideas for how PCORI can facilitate the creation or function of national data infrastructure to support high quality patient-centered outcomes research. The workshop will be webcast.

July 10: HIT Policy Committee Meeting
10 a.m.; 1143 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (HIT) policy committee will meet to discuss recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health IT on a policy framework for the development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure, including standards for the exchange of patient medical information.
