The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (HIT) policy committee will meet to discuss recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health IT on a policy framework for the development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure, including standards for the exchange of patient medical information.

The Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions Subcommittee of the House Education and the Workforce Committee will hold a hearing to discuss barriers to lower health care costs for workers and employers. The hearing will also be webcast.
