Oct. 24: House L-HHS Subcommittee Oversight Hearing on Facilities & Administrative Costs
10 a.m.; 2358-C Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The House Committee on Appropriations Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Subcommittee will hold an oversight hearing titled, “The Role of Facilities and Administrative Costs in Supporting NIH-Funded Research.”

Oct. 24: E&C Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee hearing on Hurricane Season Public Health Preparedness

The House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will hold a hearing titled, “Examining HHS’s Public Health Preparedness for and Response to the 2017 Hurricane Season.”

Oct. 24: House Veterans’ Affairs Full Committee hearing on Pending Legislation
10 a.m.; 334 Cannon House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The House Veterans’ Affairs Full Committee will hold a hearing on pending legislation including the Veteran Coordinated Access and Reward Experiences (CARE) Act (H.R. 2601), the Veterans Transplant Coverage Act of 2017 (H.R. 2123), the Veterans E-Health and Telemedicine Support Act of 2017 (H.R. 2601), the Veterans Increase Choice for Transplanted Organs and Recovery Act of 2017 (H.R. 3642), and the Military Sexual Assault Victims Empowerment Act.

Oct. 25: House L-HHS Subcommittee hearing on the State of Science and Potential for Discoveries
