April 4: Senate HELP Committee Hearing on FDA User Fee Agreements

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee will hold the second part of a hearing on Food and Drug Administration (FDA) User Fee Agreements. The first part of the hearing was held on March 21.

April 4: Energy and Commerce Subcommittee Hearing on Cybersecurity in the Health Care Sector
10:15 a.m.; 2322 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine cybersecurity in the health care sector and strengthening public-private partnerships.

April 5: Senate HELP Committee Hearing on FDA Commissioner Nomination Hearing
10 a.m.; 430 Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee will hold a hearing to consider Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner nominee Scott Gottlieb, MD.

April 6-7: MedPAC Meeting
Time: TBD; 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) will meet to discuss Medicare issues and policy questions and to develop and approve reports and recommendations to the Congress. An agenda will be posted prior to the meeting.
