The Senate Appropriations Military Construction, Veterans Affairs (VA) and Related Agencies Subcommittee will hold a hearing to review the VA electronic health record progress towards interoperability with Department of Defense (DoD) electronic health records. Witnesses will be announced on the committee’s website.

July 13: Senate Finance Committee Hearing on MACRA
10 a.m.; 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The Senate Committee on Finance will hold a hearing titled, “Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015: Ensuring Successful Implementation of Physician Payment Reforms.” The Honorable Andrew Slavitt, Acting Administrator for Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, will testify.
