April 19: E&C Hearing on MACRA
10:15 a.m.; 2322 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington D.C.
The House Energy and Commerce (E&C) Health Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine physician efforts to prepare for Medicare payment reforms through the Medicare Access and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). This hearing will be a sequel to a March 10 hearing.

April 19: House VA Committee Hearing on Delays in Veterans’ Access to Healthcare
10:30 a.m.; 334 Cannon House Office Building, Washington D.C.
The House Veterans Affairs (VA) Committee will hold a hearing to continue the assessment of delays in the Veterans’ access to healthcare. A full witness list will be made available on the Committee’s website.

April 20: House Select Investigative Panel Hearing on Pricing of Fetal Tissue
10 a.m.; HVC-201 Capitol Visitors Center, Washington, D.C.
The House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives will hold a hearing on the pricing of fetal tissue. A witness list, and witness testimony will be posted.

April 20: House VA Health Subcommittee Hearing on Pending Healthcare Legislation

The House Veterans Affairs Health Subcommittee will hold a hearing to discuss various pieces of pending legislation pertaining to veterans’ healthcare.

April 20: E&C Oversight Subcommittee Hearing on Security of Bioresearch Laboratories
10:15 a.m.; 2322 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington D.C.
The House Energy and Commerce (E&C) Health Subcommittee will meet to discuss the security of United States’ Bioresearch Laboratories. This hearing will focus on the need for stronger oversight on high-containment laboratories. A full witness list is available on the committee’s website.

April 21: HIT Standards Committee Precision Medicine Task Force Meeting
1 p.m.; Webinar
The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Health Information Technology (HIT) Standards Committee will meet via webinar to discuss recommendations on the Precision Medicine Task Force.
