The Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Committee will hold a hearing entitled, “Health Information Exchange: A Path Towards Improving the Quality and Value of Health Care for Patients.” Witness testimony will be posted to the committee’s website when available.

June 10: Ways & Means Hearing on ACA and HHS FY 2016 Budget Request
10 a.m.; 1100 Longworth House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The House Ways and Means Committee will hold a hearing to discuss the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) fiscal year (FY) 2016 budget request. Witness testimony will be posted to the committee’s website when available.

June 11-12: NIH Advisory Committee to the Director Meeting
9a.m.; NIH Campus, Bethesda, Md.
The National Institutes of Health Advisory Committee to the Director (ACD) will hold its 110th meeting. An agenda for the meeting is posted to the website and meeting topics include: the ACD National Library of Medicine working group report; planning for the NIH-wide strategic plan; ACD physician-scientist workforce working group report; and an update from the precision medicine initiative working group, among other items.
