April 14: Senate Finance Committee Hearing on Medicare Appeals
10 a.m.; 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building
The Senate Finance Committee will hold a hearing to discuss audit and appeals issues in Medicare. Nancy Griswold, chief administrative law judge, Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals, Department of Health and Human Services, is among a panel of witnesses expected to testify.

April 14: Ways and Means Health Subcommittee Hearing on ACA
10 a.m.; B-318 Rayburn House Office Building
The House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing to discuss the individual and employer mandates included in the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The hearing will take place immediately following a brief organizational meeting. Witness testimony will be posted to the subcommittee’s website when available.

April 14: House Appropriations Subcommittee Hearing on Defense Health program
10 a.m.; 2359 Rayburn House Office Building
The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense will hold a budget hearing on the Defense Health Program. Witness testimony will be posted to the subcommittee’s website when available.

April 15: House Labor-HHS Subcommittee Hearing on Ebola Budget
10 a.m.; 2358-C Rayburn House Office Building
The House Appropriations Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) Subcommittee will hold a budget hearing on Ebola. Witness testimony will be heard from: Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response Nicole Lurie, M.D., MSPH; Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention Director Thomas Frieden, M.D., M.P.H.; National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health Director Anthony Fauci, M.D.; and HHS Deputy Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response Robin Robinson, Ph.D.

April 16: House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee Hearing on Medicare Post-Acute Care
10:15 a.m.; 2322 Rayburn House Office Building
The House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee will hold a hearing titled “Medicare Post-Acute Care Delivery and Options to Improve It.” Members of the subcommittee will also discuss H.R. 1458, The Bundling and Coordinating Post-Acute Care (BACPAC) Act, and recent legislative items included in H.R. 2, The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act. Witness testimony will be posted to the subcommittee’s website when available.
