The House Appropriations Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee will hold a hearing to discuss the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) fiscal year (FY) 2016 budget. OMB Director Shaun Donovan will testify.

March 17: Senate HELP Hearing on Health IT

The Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Committee will hold a hearing to discuss nation’s health information technology (HIT) transformation, particularly regarding the use of electronic health records. Witness testimony will be posted to the committee’s website when available.

March 17: House VA Subcommittee Hearing on Higher Education Opportunities

The House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity will hold a hearing to review higher education opportunities for the newest generation of veterans. Witness testimony will be posted to the committee’s website when available.

March 18: House Labor –HHS Hearing on Higher Education

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies will hold an oversight hearing to discuss achievement gaps in higher education. Witness testimony will be posted to the committee’s website when available.

March 18: Health IT Standards Committee Meeting
9:30 a.m.; 10 Thomas Circle N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology (HIT) Standards Committee will meet to discuss recommendations on standards, implementation specifications, and certification criteria for the electronic exchange and use of health information.

March 19: Senate Finance Committee Hearing on ACA
