Figure 5 disaggregates data for applicants who identified as Hispanic, Latino, or of Spanish origin. In 2018-2019, the two largest Hispanic, Latino, or of Spanish Origin applicant subgroups were Mexican, Mexican American, Chicano/Chicana (28.1%), and Puerto Rican (20.8%). The two smallest subgroups were Argentinean (1.2%) and Dominican (2.5%). Applicants from the Multiple Hispanic, Latino, or of Spanish Origin subgroups were 9.2% of all Hispanic, Latino, or of Spanish Origin applicants.
