Feb. 4: PCORI Board Meeting

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) will hold its Board of Governors meeting in San Francisco, with an option to watch the meeting live via webcast. According to a draft agenda, the board will discuss the executive director’s report, the methodology committee report, the budget, targeted funding announcements, among other items.

Feb. 6: House Budget and Economic Outlook Hearing
9:30 a.m.; 210 Cannon House Office Building
The House Budget Committee will hold a hearing on the budget and economic outlook prepared by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). CBO Director Douglas Elmendorf, Ph.D., will testify.

Feb. 6: HIT Policy Meeting
10 a.m.; 1919 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Health Information Technology (HIT) Policy Committee will meet to discuss recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health IT on a policy framework for the development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure, including standards for the exchange of patient medical information.
