Dec. 12: House Hearing on Science Readiness To Test HGH in the NFL

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will hold a hearing entitled, “HGH (Human Growth Hormone) Testing in the NFL: Is the Science Ready?” Among other witnesses, the committee will hear testimony from Lawrence Tabak, deputy director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Linn Goldberg, M.D., F.A.C.S.M., head of the Division of Health Promotion and Sports Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

Dec. 13: House Hearing on ACA Exchanges and Medicaid Expansion

The House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing to discuss questions around the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance exchanges and Medicaid expansion.

Dec. 13: Senate Finance Committee Hearing on Improving Care for Dual-Eligibles
10 a.m.; 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The Senate Finance Committee will hold a hearing to discuss progress on improving care for dually eligible beneficiaries, individuals who are enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid.
