Virtual Symposium on Evaluating Holistic Admissions

The AAMC holistic review team, in collaboration with Student Affairs and Programs, invites you to the first virtual symposium on evaluating holistic admissions on Friday, June 22, from 11am-1pm EST. This two-hour, interactive event will provide holistic review advocates an opportunity to share and learn about tools, techniques, and motivation for evaluating their admissions processes. Intended as a companion for “Roadmap to Excellence: Key Concepts for Evaluating the Impact of Medical School Holistic Admissions”, this symposium will provide participants with information to assist schools with shifting from theory to practice.  Participants will learn how to more effectively engage executive leadership in support of holistic admissions, as well as key concepts for assessing the impact of holistic admissions. There will also be moderated chat rooms to connect with colleagues on various topics and questions of interest.

This symposium will also kick off our “Coffee Connects Academy”--a series of short webinars highlighting examples-in-practice, tips and lessons learned about evaluating the impact of holistic review.
