This resource focuses on broader DEI work that addresses bias that occurs during patient care. The resource consists of students’ reflection on their experiences of bias in the healthcare system through narrative essays and discussions facilitated by faculty using the Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) approach. It includes: 1) the faculty guide for a small group narrative medicine session, and 2) the prompt for the students’ narrative medicine assignment about experiences of bias.
