June 17: Senate HELP Hearing on Higher Education Act

The Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee (HELP) will hold a hearing entitled “Reauthorizing the Higher Education Act: Evaluating Accreditation’s Role in Ensuring Quality. Witness testimony will be posted to the committee’s website when available.

June 19: NIH Council of Councils Meeting

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Council of Councils will meet to discuss business matters and updates on various initiatives. The Council advises the NIH director and acts as an external advisory panel to the NIH Institute and Centers (IC) directors.
