Title VII Profiles of Success

HCOP & COE Profiles of Success

The Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) and the Centers of Excellence (COE) are two diversity programs authorized under Title VII of the Public Health Service Act. Together, these programs function to increase the representation of minority and disadvantaged students in the health professions by developing a "pipeline" to the health professions for K-12 and college students, and providing mentorship and support for enrolled health professions students.

Click on the name of a participant below to see a one-page PDF profile of how the programs have benefited your state. More information regarding specific program activities can be found at each program's Web site.
