As we enter the summer months, I hope many – if not all – of you are getting an opportunity to relax and reflect on another year in medical school. There are many “ups and downs” along this journey, and it is critical to remember that if you feel stressed or
overwhelmed, you are not alone. Many others feel similarly, so please feel free to reach out to me or other Ad Board members at any time if you’d like to chat!
Before we know it, we’ll be together again in Phoenix, Arizon for this year’s Learn, Serve, Lead (LSL) 2019: The AAMC Annual Meeting. A number of fantastic sessions are in the pipeline, including our Learners Leading Learners showcase – an opportunity for students to present their medical education innovations. In addition, we will be awarding the Gold Humanism in Medicine Award to an outstanding faculty member at one of our institutions – you won’t want to miss it! Please make sure to mark November 8-12, 2019 on your calendars. Registration is now open.
Thank you for all you do to support learners and make medical education even better each and every day!
