GWIMSWatch is a quarterly newsletter about topics of interest to women in medicine and science edited by the GWIMS Communications Subcommittee. Our newest issue is all about awards and recognition featuring articles on the inequitable distribution of awards, information on what you can do to mitigate the role of bias in awards, as well as insight on how to identify awards and opportunities for recognition in your specialty and how to effectively go after them.
