The GDI Steering Committee plays a pivotal role in managing the operations and strategic direction of the group. Elected officers serve two-year terms, including a chair, a chair-elect, an immediate-past chair, and four regional representatives.
In our commitment to diversity and inclusion, the steering committee includes two issue-based representatives who are appointed by the GDI Chair to provide a diverse range of perspectives. Additionally, the steering committee includes five liaisons, representing the Council of Deans, Group on Faculty Affairs, and Group on Student Affairs Committee on Student Diversity Affairs, two resident representatives from the Organization of Resident Representatives.
