Call for Nominations: AAMC's Medical Education Program Planning Committee
We invite you to submit self-nominations for service on the AAMC's Medical Education Program Planning Committee. Terms will begin immediately following AAMC’s November 2025 Annual Meeting.
There are two different engagement opportunities available: regular committee member or fellow of the committee. You may volunteer to be considered for one of these opportunities or both. We will be selecting three regular committee members and two fellows.
The AAMC's Medical Education Program Planning Committee is responsible for selecting abstracts and sessions submitted through the call for submissions for the AAMC's Annual Meeting: Learn Serve Lead (LSL). We seek self-nominations of medical educators from across the continuum of medical education and with a variety of backgrounds to fill vacancies.

We are seeking nominations for the next national Group on Educational Affairs (GEA) Medical Education Scholarship, Research and Evaluation Section (MESRE) Section Chair.
The presiding member of the MESRE Steering Committee, the MESRE Chair, provides leadership in achieving MESRE’s mission by chairing the MESRE Steering Committee, representing MESRE on the GEA Steering Committee, facilitating the involvement of MESRE in regional and national GEA initiatives, and ensuring communication between the GEA Steering Committee and the MESRE membership.

Holistic Student Support Call for Working Group Members
The AAMC Holistic Student Support (HSS) Working Group is seeking new members to help shape national conversations on medical student support. We’re looking for professionals with expertise in financial aid, student records, or medical education. Members contribute to developing resources, advancing best practices, and engaging with a dynamic community. The commitment is approximately 3-4 hours per month.
