UF Health Screen, Test & Protect
University of Florida Health
Rooted in public health guidance and in support of the University of Florida’s phased return of faculty, staff and students to campus, the UF Health Screen, Test & Protect (ST&P) campaign promoted healthy habits and fostered a culture of caring as part of an ongoing university wide initiative aimed at minimizing the spread of COVID-19. Our cost-saving strategy, including a unified design standard and creation of 250 assets, shared vital medical information, conveyed policies/expectations and effected positive behavior change.
What was the most impactful part of your award-winning entry?
The most impactful part was successfully helping prepare the entire university, including its academic health center, hospital system and it’s many campuses, clinics and extensions offices, with the materials/guidance needed to safely return to work and school during a pandemic.
What is one thing you learned from this experience?
When communicators come together, it’s possible to collaborate, coordinate and create effective, far-reaching, branded communications materials strategically and successfully, in a timely manner and while working remotely.
What challenge did you overcome?
How to help prepare the staff, faculty and students of the University of Florida and UF Health return to our many campuses and workplaces safely during a pandemic while working remotely.
