UC San Diego Health's Coronavirus Microsite
UC San Diego Health
UC San Diego Health was one of the first health care systems in the nation to receive COVID-19 patients. In early February 2020, our physicians cared for U.S. citizens who were evacuated from China to federal quarantine at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego. We immediately pivoted due to the pandemic from marketing our regular clinical efforts and launched a coronavirus microsite to help patients and the community understand our services and to answer their evolving questions about the virus.
