During this presentation, the speakers from The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth provided a look back at the 2016 reorganization of the school’s operating model, departmental structure and associated financial underpinnings. Topics covered included a synopsis of the challenges facing the school prior to the reorganization and the specific levers the School employed to stabilize its financial performance and strengthen support for its research and education missions. They also discussed specific tools and approaches used in advancing change at Geisel, and the lessons learned throughout this process.
