Financial Aid Management and Education Community

The Financial Aid Management and Education (FAME) Community addresses financial aid, literacy, counseling, and support for medical students navigating training pathways including clinical away rotations and detours.

The community addresses topics such as:

  • Financial counseling services.
  • Debt management.
  • Financial literacy.
  • Financial wellness programming.
  • Awarding processes and packaging.
  • Leave of absence management.
  • Student aid policy, regulatory, and legislative affairs.
  • Funding and management of clinical away rotations.

The work of this Community of Practice is led by the FAME Committee.
