Graduate Medical Education Group

The Graduate Medical Education Group brings together senior leader administrators, faculty, and professional staff responsible for the oversight and implementation of institutional graduate medical education programs. Focus areas include accreditation compliance, program management, professional and leadership development for current and aspiring graduate medical education leaders, resident and fellow support, data reporting, and partnership with the AAMC policy and regulatory team. Through peer support networking, in-person meetings, and virtual activities, the Graduate Medical Education Group serves as a forum for anticipating and responding to the evolving medical education landscape and a showcase for iterative innovation.

The webinar discussion covered the key provisions of the rule, how the changes affect F, and J visa holders, compliance considerations for institutions, and what medical schools, teaching hospitals, and training programs should be doing to prepare.
