Data-Driven Academic Medical Centers Work Group

The Data-Driven Academic Medical Centers (DDAMC) Work Group seeks to provide a forum for ideas and discussion around creating and continuously improving data-driven decision making across the academic medicine community by sharing knowledge and enabling academic medical centers to leverage new and existing data to inform the decisions across their missions, strategic initiatives, and daily operations. This cross-cutting work group is led by chairpersons coming from the Group on Information Resources, Group on Business Affairs, and Group on Institutional Planning and is open to all AAMC constituents, with the goal of building a community of members who are interested in data-driven decision making and taking part in collaborative opportunities and projects surrounding data-driven activities and initiatives. Work group members are expected to participate on monthly calls, volunteer for and/or help find speakers for monthly presentations around topics that the group considers timely, as well as contribute resources (e.g., articles, dashboards, screenshots).
