Graduating MS4 students are about to experience one of the most exciting moments of transition in their careers! At the AAMC, we understand how critical it is for these future physicians to go into their residencies confident of their value and strengths and with renewed meaning and purpose.
The AAMC created RISE: Developing Future Leaders in Academic Medicine & Science with the goal of helping students build leadership skills and knowledge that are vital to both their journey as a medical student and their future as a leader. The program’s curriculum focuses on four core areas: Relationships, Influence, Self-awareness, and Effectiveness.

The AAMC is offering this seminar at no charge and will fully cover the registration fee, all program supplies, and all meals for seminar participants. We ask that institutions cover travel and hotel accommodations for their student representatives at the seminar. In addition, we will request that students agree to provide thorough feedback to inform the AAMC as we continue to shape our programming to best meet the needs of medical students.
