    GRAND Community Calls

    GRAND community calls are an opportunity for administrative leaders of biomedical research at academic medical centers (research deans, center directors, and similar roles), to discuss emerging topics with peers, share solutions, and form collaborations.

    This community call occurs the second Monday of every other month at 12 p.m. ET (February, April, June, August, October, December). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

    AAMC Crosswalk of NIH Awards to U.S. Schools (February 2024)

    During this GRAND community call, the AAMC will discuss its new methodology that systematically crosswalks grants awarded to all full-time faculty conducting research across U.S. medical schools with their affiliated hospitals, research institutes, and other organizations that in sum comprise the medical school “writ large,” revealing the full extent of medical school participation in NIH research funding and illustrating academic medicine’s true impact on biomedical science.
