Todd A. Bates is Senior Director, Medical Education & Learning at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Assistant Clinical Professor of Education Assessment (in Medicine). In these roles, Todd seeks to help students, staff, and faculty across the medical center to engage in inquisitive and purposeful learning.
Todd currently sits on the Board of Directors for the national Medical Education Learning Specialists professional organization, and he also previously served on behalf of the region as the MELS Northeast representative. Todd was a member of the inaugural cohort of NEGEA Ambassadors and is currently a Member at Large for the NEGEA Steering Committee.
