The GBA Department Administrator (DA) Interest Group is a network of department business managers who broadly share ideas, challenges, best practices, and development opportunities.

Specific Goals and Activities:
- Considering DA topics of interest and determining the best means to engage around these topics.
- Participating on ad hoc DA Interest Group calls and posting questions to the DA Listserv – gbada@lists.aamc.org.
- Planning and executing DA- related sessions, moderated calls, webinars, trainings and/or toolkits.
The GBA DA Interest Group has a Chair, who is also the Chair of the Advisory Committee for this Interest Group. The Advisory Committee exists to implement the strategic initiatives and actions of the GBA DA Interest Group. It is made up of DAs who represent the diversity of roles in the DA Interest Group and also has at least one PBO at any given time to represent and provide input on the activities and goals of this Group from the PBO perspective.
