The MedEdSCHOLAR program cultivates scholarly expertise and leadership skills among early-career faculty and new scholars in medical education. The program offers targeted mentorship and professional development opportunities, with a particular emphasis on individuals from backgrounds historically underrepresented in medicine and academic publishing.
The two-year program aims to help mentees:
- Gain exposure to the scholarly editorial process.
- Build valuable networks with medical education scholars.
- Increase visibility within the academic medicine community.
- Receive formal mentorship from experienced scholars.
