Technology and Data Group Leadership

The AAMC will invite self-nominations for the Steering Committee annually. The Steering Committee provides leadership for the group and, in collaboration with the AAMC affinity group staff lead, helps shape the group’s strategic priorities and annual professional development opportunities.

All Technology and Data Group members are encouraged to apply for any appropriate Steering Committee seat that aligns with their role, interest, and expertise. Early in the calendar year, all Technology and Data Group members will receive notification of the open Steering Committee positions. Steering Committee members serve for one two-year term, which are staggered.

The Steering Committee is comprised of:

• One chair (one-year term).
• One chair-elect (one-year term).
• One immediate past chair (one-year term).
• Six members-at-large with the following roles:
  • Education Technology Standing Committee chair-liaison.
  • Research Technology Standing Committee chair-liaison.
  • Technology Experience and Access Standing Committee chair-liaison.
  • Data-Driven Academic Medical Centers Standing Committee co-chair.
  • IT Operations Standing Committee co-chair.
  • CIO Roundtable Standing Committee chair.
