Jessica Chen is the Application Manager for Clinical Research Information Services at Penn Medicine. She has been with Penn Medicine for over 14 years and is currently responsible for the managing the application teams supporting the use of the EHR for Research, the Clinical Trials Management system and the regulatory and compliance documentation management applications. She previously served as a project manager leading and supporting several Enterprise IS implementations including the Enterprise Epic Research Implementation. Jessica earned her BA from the College of William and Mary and her MBA from Capella University and holds several technical certifications and is CPHIMS certified. She has been active in the AAMC Group on Information Resources (current Co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Work Group).

Michael has served as Director of Academic and Learning Technologies at the University of Washington School of Medicine since 2008. His department supports faculty and students in the effective use of technology to support teaching and learning, and manages administrative systems about medical student education. Examples of functions served by these technologies include course and curriculum management, lecture capture, videoconferencing, web conferencing, audience response, audio-visual systems, student information and scheduling, evaluation and grading. He has been active in the AAMC Group on Information Resources (former Co-chair of the Educational Technology Work Group) and the Group on Education Affairs (Past Chair of the Computer Resources in Medical Education in WGEA).

Julie Youm, PhD, is the Assistant Dean, Education Compliance and Quality, and the Director, Educational Technology at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Her background is in instructional design and cognitive studies. She works with faculty and students to explore and assess the integration of technology in the medical school curriculum and her research interests include mobile technologies, digital/blended learning and systems thinking. She has been active in the AAMC Group on Information Resources (current Co-chair of the Educational Technology Work Group) and the Group on Education Affairs (Past Chair of the Computer Resources in Medical Education in WGEA).
