The Group on Diversity and Inclusion (GDI) Steering Committee manages the affairs of the group.

Officers include a chairperson, a chairperson-elect, an immediate-past chairperson, a group program leader, four regional representatives, an AAMC Board of Directors (BOD) liaison, a Council of Deans (COD) liaison, a chair or designee of a AAMC member community, the GSA Committee on Diversity Affairs (CODA) chair, and four issue-based representatives.
