Clinical Leadership and Physician Enterprise Group Leadership

The AAMC will invite self-nominations for the Steering Committee annually. The Steering Committee provides leadership for the group and, in collaboration with the AAMC affinity group staff lead, helps shape the group’s strategic priorities and annual professional development opportunities.

All Clinical Leadership and Physician Enterprise Group members are encouraged to apply for any appropriate Steering Committee seat that aligns with their role, interest, and expertise. Early in the calendar year, all group members will receive notification of the open member-at-large Steering Committee positions. Steering Committee members-at-large may serve a maximum of two consecutive two-year terms, which are staggered and not automatically renewed.

The Steering Committee is comprised of:

• One chair (one-year term).
• One chair-elect (one-year term).
• One immediate past chair (one-year term).
• Six members-at-large.

The Clinical Leadership and Physician Enterprise Group Steering Committee shall also have one liaison from the Academic Medical Group Leadership Roundtable, one liaison from the Council of Deans, and one liaison from the National Veterans Health Administration.
