AAMC Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Sex Development Project
With funding from the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation, Diversity Policy and Programs and MedEdPORTAL have launched the Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Sex Development Project. The project aims to create a repository for competency-based educational and assessment resources that address the health of individuals who are LGBT, gender nonconforming and/or born with differences of sex development. The project is in need of leaders in the areas of LGBT and/or DSD health care to serve in one or both of the following roles:
- Author educational resources for the project.
The three options for submission include: Publications, iCollaborative, and CE Directory which represent classroom-tested curriculum, effective practices and innovations, and continuing education courses respectively.
- Serve as a peer reviewer for submitted resources.
Peer reviewers serve as important quality gatekeepers to ensure submitted materials are accurate, clear, complete, and relevant to the collection, and provide thoughtful feedback for continued improvements.
To learn more about the project, submit a resource, or become a peer reviewer, please visit: www.mededportal.org/lgbt.
