The AAMC Institution Profile System (IPS) is a password-protected application that allows authorized users to securely access a wide variety of reports, surveys, and other materials for their institution. IPS is available to U.S. MD-granting medical schools, Canadian medical schools, DO-granting medical schools, and AAMC-member health systems and hospitals. Throughout IPS, the content that an individual can see and download is tailored to the individual’s roles and access rights. For more information about each page, read the descriptions below.
Reports
Where available and appropriate, this page has a variety of reports for your institution dating back, in some cases, to 2017-2018.
Latest Surveys
Where available and appropriate, this page has the most recent version of surveys for your institution. Each survey lists a due date. If the due date has passed, the survey is no longer actively open. The next iteration will be posted when available.
Historic Surveys
Where available and appropriate, this page has surveys for your institution dating back, in some cases, to 2017-2018.
File Management
With this feature, users can upload surveys and other materials directly and securely to the AAMC on behalf of their respective institutions. Through this upload capability, users will no longer need to submit, say, Excel-based surveys to the AAMC as email attachments.
