The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on Dec. 23 published a request for information seeking feedback on accelerating the adoption and use of artificial intelligence (AI) as part of clinical care. Specifically, the HHS seeks comments on “actions it can take to establish a forward-leaning, industry-supportive, and secure approach” to adopting AI in clinical care delivery. The request includes three topics — regulation, reimbursement, and research and development — and provides a list of specific questions. Comments are due Feb. 23, 2026.
