At the AAMC, we strive to provide an inclusive, accessible, and safe environment for all visitors to the Learning Center. Our goal is to make every visitor feel comfortable by ensuring your visit is as easy as possible and free of barriers.
Below, find important information and resources to help you navigate the AAMC Learning Center and the city of Washington, D.C.
Accessibility services and accommodations provided by the AAMC:
- Elevators. Elevators are located in the lobby and provide access to all floors.
- Restrooms. All restrooms in the AAMC Learning Center are accessible. Single-occupant restrooms are located on the penthouse level of our building for the convenience and comfort of our guests. Please ask the AAMC staff at the concierge desk for assistance in accessing the single-occupant restrooms.
- Quiet Room. The Learning Center has a quiet space, which can be used at your discretion. Please ask the AAMC staff at the concierge desk for the room's location when you arrive on-site.
- Lactation Room. A lactation room is available on the 3rd floor of the Learning Center and is open during meeting hours. Please ask the AAMC staff at the concierge desk for the room's location when you arrive on-site.
- Service Animals. Service animals are welcome; other animals or pets are not allowed. Visitors are not permitted to bring emotional support or companion animals into the Learning Center.
- Auxiliary Aids/Services. If you need to request support for additional services such as sign language interpreters, limited mobility support, dietary considerations, etc. please request such services during meeting registration or contact learningcenter1@aamc.org.
