The U.S. Physician Workforce Data Dashboard was launched in 2023, combining data previously published in the State Physician Workforce Data Report and Physician Specialty Data Report.
The Physician Specialty Data Report was published biennially between 2012 and 2022. The report provided detailed statistics on active U.S. physicians and physicians in residency and fellowship programs for the largest specialty groups.
