Effectiveness of Implementing Sustainable Evidence-Based Mental Health Practices in Low-Resource Settings to Achieve Mental Health Equity for Traditionally Underserved Populations (R01 / R34)
Jan. 24—Deadline to submit a letter of intent for these federal grants for pilot and larger-scale studies which “test the effectiveness of strategies for implementation and sustainable delivery of evidence-based mental health treatments and services; and generate new information about factors integral to achieving equity in mental health outcomes for underserved populations.”
Jan. 25 – Deadline for applications to these three grants from the NIH to “increase the research competitiveness of faculty and the research base at institutions with an explicitly stated historical mission and/or a demonstrated track record within the previous 10 years of training and graduating students from backgrounds underrepresented in biomedical research.”
Utilizing Health Information Technology to Scale and Spread Successful Practice Models Using Patient-reported Outcomes (R18)
Jan. 25 – Application deadline for this AHRQ FOA to support the development of health information technology to “improve patient-centered health outcomes and quality of care in primary care and other ambulatory settings through the scale and spread of successful, health IT-enabled practice models that use patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures to achieve these objectives.”
PCORI Announces Cycle 1 2020 Broad Funding Announcements
Feb. 4 – Deadline to apply for this cycle of PCORI funding opportunities for comparative clinical effectiveness research. Research Areas of Interest include: proposals to address disparities; improve healthcare systems; assess prevention, diagnosis, and treatment options; and communication and dissemination research.
