In this video, Lee Jones, MD, Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University Of California Davis School Of Medicine, interviews Andrew Hollenbach, PhD, Associate Professor of Genetics, in the Department of Genetics, at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. In this engaging conversation, they discuss: the definition of inclusiveness, the importance of visible inclusivity, the effectiveness of institutional climate surveys, and the impact of institutional climate in facilitating or hindering the ability of trainees to learn how to provide culturally competent care to patients who are LGBT and/or born with DSD patients.
