News and Announcements
New LoR Policy for ERAS 2016
Starting in ERAS 2016, all LoRs will be uploaded using the ERAS Letter of Recommendation Portal (LoRP) by your LoR Authors or their designee.
This is a change from past seasons and we wanted you to be aware as you begin contacting your LoR Authors.
When the ERAS 2016 season opens in May, you will be able to add your LoR Authors in your MyERAS Application and only after that, your LoR Authors will be able to upload their letters for you. In order to do this, each of your LoR Authors will need to set up an account and upload their letters using the information you will provide to them once you have access to your application in May.
In the meantime, we have created the following letter that you can give to your LoR Authors that explains the new process and their role in it.
IMG applicants please visit the ECFMG website for more information.

What's New - MyERAS 2015
AAMC IDs will no longer serve as user names. Starting with ERAS 2015, applicants will create a user name for MyERAS when they register.
Applicants may select Visa type (J-1 and/or H-1B) when answering Yes to the Visa Sponsorship question under Citizenship in the Profile.
Applicants may reply to messages in the Message Center they receive from programs using the Web-based PDWS. This only applies to programs that have opted to use the new web-based system for this recruitment season.
Note: Applicants will NOT be able to reply to messages received from programs that opted out of new web-based system.
Applicant Document Tracking System (ADTS)
Applicants will only be able to access ADTS from within MyERAS.
A Payment Status section has been added to the Dashboard, that lets applicants know if they have an outstanding balance with ERAS or if their account is paid in full.
On the Letters of Recommendation tab, we have added a checkbox that allows applicants to indicate if a LoR Author is a department chair in a current/previous residency or fellowship program where they trained.
During registration, program staff were asked to provide additional information about their programs. For those programs that chose to respond, applicants will be able to access Additional Program Information when searching for programs in MyERAS.
