What is MSAR?
MSAR (Medical School Admission Requirements), a suite of guides to help students prepare for medical school and the application process, is produced by the AAMC in collaboration with medical schools and combined B.S./M.D. programs. MSAR products include MSAR Online and MSAR: Getting Started (print or e-book). MSAR is the only comprehensive source for trusted, up-to-date information on medical school admission requirements.
MSAR: Getting Started (print or e-book)
This publication helps you get started on the right path to medical school. You’ll find help on deciding if a career in medicine is right for you, how to prepare for medical school during your undergraduate years, and an overview of medical education and M.D./Ph.D. programs. Plus, you’ll find important information about the MCAT® exam and AMCAS application, how to choose the right school, how to apply and prepare and what to expect, how admissions decisions are made, information about diversity in medical schools, financing, applicant and matriculant data, and more.
MSAR Online, a one-year subscription service, is a powerful online database that allows you to easily browse, search, sort, and compare data on U.S. and Canadian medical schools and B.S./M.D. programs. It’s updated annually with the most recent data from LCME, AMCAS, MCAT, and more, and in collaboration with medical schools.
As a free bonus, you will get the MSAR: Getting Started e-book when you subscribe to MSAR Online.
