Westchester Community Resource Cheat Sheet

Last Updated: May 19, 2020

Description

Several M1s and M2s at New York Medical College (NYMC) have created resource documents to distribute to the Westchester community during COVID-19. One document contains a brief summary of a variety of different resources available to the community to this time, including but not limited to food, childcare, housing, mental health, and abuse. We have also provided community-specific information for populations including the elderly, undocumented persons/immigrants, Jewish communities, LGBTQ+, Hispanic populations, and Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders. This 2-page document has served as a brief “high-yield” source of information for easier distribution and accessibility amongst the greater Westchester community. The document is related to a longer, fully comprehensive resource document (linked with a QR code on the cheat sheets) compiled and updated regularly by other M2s at New York Medical College. Concurrently, we have compiled a 1-page information sheet focused on testing, also applicable to the Westchester community, with COVID-19 health information, including symptoms, what to do if you feel sick, and where you can get tested.
