OnlineMedEd makes high-quality medical education videos freely available and widely accessible. Over 230 clinical lessons exist for clerkships, and each is designed to promote understanding and retention of clinical knowledge through pattern recognition and “connecting the dots”. Complex, dense concepts for core clerkships such as internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, psychiatry, neurology, surgery and even biostatistics are distilled into accessible, easily digestible lessons. These videos can be leveraged in the flipped classroom model, where students obtain knowledge prior to engaging in faculty-led discussions.
